Requirements

Relevant qualification
Minimum 1 year of experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance
Strong practical knowledge of horticulture and plant care
Ability to interpret site and landscape plans
Skilled in operating commercial landscaping equipment
Physically fit and able to perform outdoor manual work
Current driver’s licence (essential)
White Card (preferred)
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Responsibility

Design and renovate gardens, including preparing site plans and planting layouts
Estimate, quote, and order landscaping materials
Maintain landscaped areas for private clients, strata, and commercial sites
Construct small-scale landscape features such as decking, pathways, and water features
Build and install steps, retaining walls, fences, and irrigation systems
Prepare, seed, and lay turf for lawn installation
Plant, prune, and maintain lawns, flowers, shrubs, and trees
Enhance soil quality through fertilising, mulching, and aeration
Clear debris, leaves, and maintain tidy outdoor areas
Operate landscaping machinery and tools safely (mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, brush cutters, etc.)
