Join our clients dynamic team as an Estimating/Production Assistant! Be part of exciting projects, in a supportive and creative team where you can grow your career. Your role will include preparing estimates, coordinating with vendors, maintaining records, and contributing fresh ideas. A degree in Construction Management or a related field, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a passion for the construction industry are required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting in preparing estimates for new projects by analysing plans and specifications
  • coordinating with vendors and suppliers to gather quotes and pricing information
  • maintaining organised records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation
  • collaborating with project managers to track project progress and deadlines
  • helping to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the production team
  • contributing to team meetings with fresh ideas and insights to enhance operations

Requirements:

  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • experience with estimating software is a plus
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • a genuine passion for the construction or production industry
