Job Description:

Join our clients dynamic team as an Estimating/Production Assistant! Be part of exciting projects, in a supportive and creative team where you can grow your career. Your role will include preparing estimates, coordinating with vendors, maintaining records, and contributing fresh ideas. A degree in Construction Management or a related field, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a passion for the construction industry are required.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting in preparing estimates for new projects by analysing plans and specifications
coordinating with vendors and suppliers to gather quotes and pricing information
maintaining organised records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation
collaborating with project managers to track project progress and deadlines
helping to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the production team
contributing to team meetings with fresh ideas and insights to enhance operations

Requirements:

A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
experience with estimating software is a plus
excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
a genuine passion for the construction or production industry
