As our Estimating Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the estimating process from start to finish, setting deadlines, and producing accurate bid packages. Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate schedules of deliverables for the team and assist with managing timelines, deadlines, and estimating packages
  • Communicate with vendors and clients to build relationships, define the project scope, address any deficiencies, negotiate prices, and facilitate registration process of products
  • Research quotes for material and labor from our suppliers and subcontractors
  • Continuously follow up on all bid projects and accurately forecast future awards
  • Partner with Power Design’s construction project management team to properly transfer awarded projects

Requirements

  • College graduates with 1–3 years of related coordination or administrative work experience
  • Individuals who love to problem solve and thrive in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing and evolving
  • Someone with advanced skills in Microsoft Office and basic fundamental skills in database management, Bluebeam or other PDF-editing software, and construction plan reading/interpretation
  • Strong communication skills and professional behavior, including the ability to create and conduct presentations and training sessions
