This entry-level role is designed for aspiring Estimators looking to build a rewarding career in residential plan documentation. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you’ll learn how homes are costed, how variations are assessed, and how estimating supports the delivery of high-quality homes across NSW.
Job Responsibility:
Assist our Estimating Team with raising purchase orders and setting up new jobs in our systems
Support the preparation and distribution of site files and documentation for residential projects
Learn to ensure estimates, quantities, and costings meet compliance, buildability, and customer requirements
Collaborate with trades, suppliers, Construction, Sales, Design, and other internal teams to understand workflows
Help investigate charges, variations, and site issues under supervision
Complete basic estimating tasks and quantity take‑offs, contributing to accurate cost assessments
Maintain organised digital records and learn industry‑standard estimating procedures
Contribute to continuous improvement by embracing feedback and development opportunities
Requirements:
Completed or currently studying a related qualification in Construction, Building Design, Architecture, or similar
Highly organised with strong ability to multitask
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic understanding of estimating principles or construction documentation
Familiarity with estimating systems or construction software (training provided)
Keen eye for detail, strong numerical aptitude, and a passion for learning
Organised, motivated, and eager to develop your career in residential estimating
