The MQ-25, F-22, and Sensors and Special Programs (S&SP) Estimating team is seeking an Estimating and Pricing Specialist Team Lead to join the team in Hazelwood, MO. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of estimates (Labor with focus on Production Operations) and cost/price proposals for new business activities. This assignment will support MQ-25 and S&SP. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 4 and Level 5 Specialists to find the best fit for the position.

Job Responsibility

  • Participate in evaluation of requests for proposal
  • Lead development of complex labor estimates with complex technical requirements
  • Lead development and application of pricing strategies using innovative computational techniques
  • Lead business proposals, evaluate and make recommendations based on complex requests for proposals and substantiate estimates and pricing
  • Lead analyses in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)
  • Coordinate and collaborate with proposal teams and cost element functional owners to develop appropriate basis of estimate and substantiation of costs estimates, proposals and other related business decision data
  • Identify, assess and implement changes to processes, tools and techniques to simplify estimating and pricing methodologies and improve cost estimating accuracy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
  • Experience working on government proposals, to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals
  • Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance
  • Experience in production operations labor estimating
  • Experience in leadership, either formally or informally leading teams
