Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a highly skilled Trusts & Estates Paralegal or Attorney with expertise in taxation to serve as an Estate Settlement Attorney in Boston. The candidate will support Trustees and clients by facilitating the settlement of estates and administration of trusts, requiring expertise in estate settlement, probate, tax compliance, and trust administration.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare federal and state estate or inheritance tax returns and gift tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations
  • Generate estate tax projections and analyze planning documents for tax-related insights
  • Manage probate accounting activities, working with attorneys and probate court personnel to ensure compliance and submission of documentation
  • Collaborate with outside counsel on legal matters, including identifying and mitigating legal and tax risks
  • Provide exceptional client service through clear communication of complex estate planning and tax concepts
  • Proactively address trustees’ needs, offering guidance on settlement timetables and processes
  • Maintain tracking systems and project timelines to ensure efficient completion of estate settlement activities
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Work closely with internal teams, including fiduciary services and investment professionals
  • Uphold high-quality service standards while adhering to established processes.

Requirements:
