A well-established, highly regarded law firm in Chicago’s western suburbs is seeking an Estate Planning Legal Assistant to join its Estate Planning Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal assistant who enjoys client interaction and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Job Responsibility
Provide administrative and legal support for sophisticated estate planning and estate administration matters
Draft, revise, and format estate planning documents and correspondence
Manage calendars, deadlines, and client communications
Coordinate filings and maintain organized client files
Assist attorneys with daily workflow and matter management
Communicate directly with clients and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
1–3 years of experience supporting estate planning and/or estate administration matters
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented legal environment
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable managing frequent client interaction
Proficiency in WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, and Excel required
Experience with WealthCounsel, Time Matters, and Juris is a plus
