Job Description

A well-established, highly regarded law firm in Chicago’s western suburbs is seeking an Estate Planning Legal Assistant to join its Estate Planning Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal assistant who enjoys client interaction and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide administrative and legal support for sophisticated estate planning and estate administration matters
  • Draft, revise, and format estate planning documents and correspondence
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and client communications
  • Coordinate filings and maintain organized client files
  • Assist attorneys with daily workflow and matter management
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience supporting estate planning and/or estate administration matters
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented legal environment
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing frequent client interaction
  • Proficiency in WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, and Excel required
  • Experience with WealthCounsel, Time Matters, and Juris is a plus
