A well-established Ohio firm is seeking an experienced associate to join its busy and highly regarded Trust & Estates practice in Columbus. This close-knit group handles a sophisticated mix of estate planning and probate matters, offering meaningful responsibility and direct client interaction from day one. This is an excellent role for an attorney looking to deepen their practice in a collaborative environment that values both technical expertise and client service.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
  • Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies, fiduciary considerations, and tax-efficient planning approaches
  • Support-and ideally lead-probate and trust administration matters, including court filings, inventories/accountings, and beneficiary communications

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Trust & Estates experience in a law firm setting
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and client-facing skills
