In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. Job Responsibility

  • Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere
  • Conducting regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism
  • Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed
  • Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns
  • Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required
  • Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same
  • Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
  • Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

Requirements

  • Current DS SIA Licence
  • Proven experience in a security role or a similar position
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities
  • Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
