ESports Head Coach

• Administration of all phases of an intercollegiate ESports programming
• Recruiting quality student-athletes
• Organizing and training athletes for successful competition
• Monitoring and supporting the academic success of the student-athletes
• Establish a recruiting strategy and procedures
• Organize, prepare, and conduct team practice sessions
• Direct, motivate, and advise student-athletes during competition
• Establish student-athlete and team goals
• Establish and enforce team and college policies
• Represent the college in a positive manner
• Meet with the Athletic Academic Advisor to monitor academic progress
• Work with the Athletic Director to develop a competition schedule
• Develop relationships with four-year coaches and implement a plan to assist students in transferring
• Adhere to NJCAA eligibility and compliance regulations
• Attend and participate in coaching staff meetings
• Ensure student-athlete eligibility paperwork is completed
• Communicate uniform and/or equipment needs

• Associate’s degree or higher
• Knowledge of the sport of ESports as a student-athlete and/or a coach
• Knowledge of recruitment and student-athlete development
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Valid driver’s license
• the ability to work effectively with a diverse student body, faculty, and staff
