Requirements

Qualified to Grad IOSH level or working towards, with a construction bias with a good working knowledge of environmental management systems and related standards
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Membership of appropriate technical / professional body
IOSH Managing Safely or Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace or equivalent
Well organised with the ability to work to timescales and demonstrate attention to detail
Routine recording and reporting of information both verbal and numerical
Reception of physical and telephone callers
Experience of employment in a customer facing role
Familiar with structuring and presentation of own work
Used to dealing with confidential and commercial information

Job Responsibility

Work as part of an established ESH team supporting work on the framework projects on a client site
Supporting the ESH Manager to ensure the company fulfils its duties, policy objectives and maintains certification to ISO standards
Monitoring and reporting on health & safety, performance
Ensuring compliance with the company’s QSHEW system
Co-operating and assisting during any external/3rd party audit
Undertaking and supporting investigations into adverse events
