Job Description:

We are currently looking for an ESG & Sustainability Officer to join our HSQ & Sustainability team in Athens offices. Your role will encompass coordinating data collection, organizing meetings, monitoring sustainability data, assisting in projects, preparing reports, and staying updated on ESG trends.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate the collection of data and metrics following the reporting standards and company guidelines
  • Organize and participate in meetings across Energy
  • Monitor the Sustainability Data collection progress
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of ad - hoc HSQ & Sustainability Division Projects and sustainability initiatives
  • Collect data and prepare detailed reports to management
  • Stay updated on global ESG trends, regulations, and reporting standards

Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in Engineering or Environmental Science or Sustainability or other related field
  • 2+ years proven experience in ESG/ Sustainability/ Environmental Management Systems roles
  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks, methodologies and International Standards
  • Any related to sustainability professional certification will be considered a plus
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Standards would be considered a plus
  • Experience in project management & familiarity with auditing/ audit processes and audit reporting will be considered a plus
  • Fluent written and spoken English essential, knowledge of other languages a plus
  • Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal abilities
