Job Description:

The Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Controller team is function within the Finance division and is responsible for the strategic oversight, execution approach, preparation, analysis, senior governance and ultimate submission of external ESG disclosures for Citigroup globally such as EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive ‘CSRD’, EU Taxonomy, California new climate disclosure rules (SB 253 and SB 261), evolving ISSB reporting requirements, among others.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain the DR Inventory
Assess DR Applicability
Calculate Key ESG Metrics
Analyze Quantitative ESG Metrics
Develop and Refine Reporting Processes
Prepare Report Drafts
Integrate Data and Finalize Reports
Monitor Regulatory Developments
Collaborate with Leads on Key Activities

Requirements:

Exceptional analytical abilities
Excellent communication skills
Solid ESG foundation
Specialized ESG knowledge
Financial services acumen
Proven project and stakeholder management skills
Proactive and independent
Technical proficiency
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Environmental and Social Management/ Sciences
Certifications such as Sustainable Investing Certificate, CFA
ESG reporting and assurance fundamentals, AICPA & CIMA
Sustainability and Climate Risk Certificate, GARP
7+ years of relevant experience
