Job Description:

As an ESG Business & Analyst you will be working with data experts, focused on delivering business insights that matter for the Asset and Investment Management of the Allianz Group with a particular focus on our ESG data and analytics. You will be part of the ESG Product Development team and shape the future of ESG within the Allianz Group.

Job Responsibility:

  • Get familiar with ESG (market) data and regulations
  • Be an expert for the data processing and solution design within our ESG data platform
  • Transform business requirements to technical solutions
  • Conduct analysis of performance across the ESG factors, which can impact the financial metrics of a company and better inform investment decisions
  • Provide real-time data to map the ESG needs and ensure the requirements to meet reporting needs
  • Answer customer requirements and prepare reports, while understanding the ESG topics in general
  • Customer focus, keep customers informed and provide applicable information

Requirements:

  • Experience in analytics and reporting
  • Skilled in applications and analytics of mass data
  • Experience in SQL Databases, or implementation of comparable data retrieval tools
  • Experience with PowerBI or similar data visualization tools is highly desirable
  • Finance and sustainability curiosity and ability
  • Capital market, finance and/or investment management knowledge is a plus
  • Experienced in application of ESG data to derive/ evaluate issuer risk and related information
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus), with good communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with an agile mindset
