An important international financial company is looking for a candidate who can assist in the evaluation of strategies, policies and sustainable actions of large companies issuing green, social and sustainable bonds and ESG analysis of bonds issued by companies.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on international companies and their commitments and actions related to sustainability
Carry out non-financial evaluation of green, social, and sustainable bonds to verify their credibility and investment opportunities
Evaluate sustainability reports of important companies, frameworks for green and social bonds, alignments with regulations and sustainable principles (such as ICMA, EU taxonomy, CBI standards, SASB)
Compile proxy reports and statistics
Identify emerging issues and best practices associated with environmental and/or social projects
Identify controversies and alerts that may affect a company's credibility as a sustainable debt issuer
Evaluate project’s ESG characteristics by industry and sector against common practice
Prepare reports that synthesize the research carried out and its most important findings
Assist in the process of engaging with portfolio management teams on ESG issues
Support investment teams proactively and reactively as needed
Liaise with analysts and portfolio teams
Assist analysts and portfolio teams with specific engagements, issues, and investigations
Requirements:
Career: Economics, Business Economics, Business Administration, Finance or related
Specialization and interest in issues related to ESG, sustainability, SDG
Advanced level of English (Exclusive)
1 to 3 years of work experience in consulting or other analytical field
Strong problem solving and high analytical rigor with a proven ability to systematically formulate and address unstructured problems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Knowledge of and interest in learning about ESG concepts and the ability to synthesize a wide range of ESG issues at the company level
Attention to detail, demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
Nice to have:
Experience in responsible investment, sustainability or corporate governance is a plus
