Step Into a Thriving Escrow Desk in Yakima First American is hiring an Escrow Officer in Yakima, WA to take over a well-established, high-volume desk from a retiring industry veteran. This is a unique opportunity to inherit strong client relationships, lead smooth closings, and grow your career with a trusted national brand. We're looking for someone driven, relationship-focused, and ready to make an impact. Escrow experience is a plus, but we hire for attitude and potential and we will will train the right person.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage real estate escrow transactions from open to close
  • Prepare and review closing documents and settlement statements
  • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders
  • Clear title issues and ensure smooth, timely closings
  • Balance and disburse escrow funds accurately
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the transaction process

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of related experience preferred
  • Escrow or escrow assistant experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the escrow/title industry
  • State licensing/certification if required
