This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing escrow processes and insurance tracking within the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate and loan administration, coupled with a deep understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Execute quarterly escrow processing and ensure timely completion of annual escrow analysis
Monitor hazard and flood insurance policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accuracy in billing
Handle insurance tracking, including billing and payments for private insurance and other related policies
Maintain adherence to critical deadlines for escrow and insurance-related tasks
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage property tax billing and payments effectively
Review and process title escrow documents, ensuring all legal and compliance standards are met
Oversee the implementation of Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) guidelines within escrow operations
Support loan administration activities, focusing on commercial real estate transactions
Conduct audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy in escrow accounts
Provide guidance and expertise on trust and estate property tax matters
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in escrow processing, insurance administration, or a related field
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial real estate and title escrow procedures
Familiarity with property tax, trust and estate tax regulations, and billing processes
Strong understanding of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and compliance requirements
Proficiency in handling loan administration and private insurance tracking
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data with accuracy
