Job Description:

The Escalation Event Analyst role sits within the Client Organization Governance and Escalations team under the Chief Administrative Office. The team supports activities related to Corporate Governance, including Governance Committees, management meetings, Board Material Data Accuracy Controls, Escalations of Events, and oversight of risk and control metrics. This role specifically executes and supports activities to ensure the Client Organisation's Escalation Events processes, controls, and reporting are effective and meet Citi's requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Executing processes related to Escalation Events oversight
  • Engage with senior leaders to assess, record and respond to Events
  • Provide analytical reviews and reporting for Senior Management and relevant Committees
  • Regularly review and execute 'Change Management' processes
  • Coordinate and host the Client Organization Escalation Champion forum
  • Execute the Client Organization Escalation Event Quality Assurance
  • Review updates required for the Client Organization Escalations operating manual
  • Review materials and present 'Roadshows' across the Client Organization
  • Coordinate, monitor, and ensure the execution of controls are effective

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in Financial Services in Business Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance, and/or governance and control
  • Experience as an Escalation Champion or relevant skills
  • Experience managing teams with broad accountability in a complex environment
  • Demonstrated experience in providing effective ongoing program management support including continuous program improvement
  • Solid understanding of a broad range of financial services products/services and end-to-end processes
  • Excellent knowledge of and experience with financial services control environments, business processes, and ever-evolving governance processes and regulatory environments
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thought in evaluating business problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starting team player with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Demonstrative analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's/University degree
