Job Description:

The Escalation Event Analyst and Reporting Officer will execute and support activities tied to the Client Organization's governance, reporting, controls, and process adherence. This includes preparation and review of aggregated Escalation Event reporting, data analysis, and program improvement through structured collaboration with other teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare periodic aggregated Escalation Event reporting and Quality Assurance reporting for Senior Management and relevant Committees and management meetings
  • Support the review and analysis of the Client Organisation’s Escalation Event inventory to identify themes, trends, and recurring root cause
  • Execute the ‘Change management’ process with regards the ‘Client Escalation Event Structure’, ensuring adherence to the Escalation Policy/Standard
  • Prepare materials specific to the Client Organisation’s Escalation Event inventory, for the monthly ‘Client Organisation Escalation Champion Forum’
  • Support the triage process for Escalation Events to ensure completeness and accuracy of the inventory
  • Develop materials for and assist in presenting ‘Roadshows’ across the Client Organization to build awareness of the Client Organization’s Escalation Events, processes, and roles and responsibilities
  • Execute controls to ensure effectiveness

Requirements:

  • A good track record of experience in Financial Services in Business Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance, and/or Corporate Governance
  • Experience in reporting, analysis and as an Escalation Champion or relevant skill
  • Some experience in providing effective ongoing program management support including continuous program improvement
  • Understanding of a broad range of financial services products/services and end-to-end processes
  • Knowledge of and experience with financial services control environments, business processes, and ever-evolving governance processes and regulatory environments
  • Ability to apply critical thought in evaluating business problems, articulating problem statements concisely and guiding the development of logical, pragmatic control recommendations and solutions
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starting team player with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
