Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Programme Management / ERP Programme Manager to join a retail conglomerate. In this role, you will lead the project management function for our multi-year Retail Merchandising ERP Transformation and Implementation programme, which is currently entering Year 2 of a 3-year implementation roadmap. Reporting directly to the Programme Director, you will lead and optimize the overall Project Management Office (PMO) for a landmark, multi-year digital and process transformation. This enterprise-wide initiative spans major strategic business units within a premier, multi-format retail conglomerate based in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibility

  • Direct and operate the core PMO function, establishing robust governance, frameworks, and performance standards across the enterprise
  • Partner closely with the Programme Director to steer overall programme planning, resource allocation, and roadmap execution
  • Oversee the successful delivery and integration of a multi-year Retail Merchandising ERP (Oracle) implementation, ensuring strict alignment with overarching business goals and value realization
  • Design, refine, and champion agile/waterfall hybrid methodologies
  • Facilitate critical steering governance meetings, managing scope, deliverables, and executive sign-offs
  • Track critical path milestones and cross-programme dependencies
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve complex risks and blockers alongside senior business owners
  • Champion the integrity of programme templates, standards (including induction guides, reporting frameworks, and gate forms), and knowledge repositories within SharePoint

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive project/programme management experience, with a proven track record in a dedicated leadership or PMO Lead capacity
  • A highly driven, tech-savvy Programme Manager with deep, hands-on expertise in Oracle ERP systems, specifically Oracle Retail
  • Prior experience within a top-tier management or technology consultancy is highly advantageous
  • Exceptional interpersonal and political acumen, with the confidence to collaborate, influence, and present seamlessly to senior leadership in a boardroom setting
  • Full professional fluency (written and spoken) in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is strictly required for regional stakeholder engagement
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, or an equivalent recognized qualification is highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Elite analytical mindset, superior problem-solving capabilities, and meticulous attention to detail within fast-paced, complex corporate environments
