Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ERP Operations Manager to join our team in Fort Mill, South Carolina. This is a contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to lead ERP support functions and contribute to the enhancement of data-driven strategies within our organization. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster structure and improvements in end-user experiences.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee ERP operations, ensuring consistent support and seamless functionality across all systems
  • Manage and mentor a team of two direct reports, with plans to expand the team by adding an ERP lead
  • Lead efforts to improve the structure and efficiency of ERP support, focusing on enhancing the end-user experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and implement solutions that align with organizational goals
  • Act as a change agent, driving initiatives to modernize ERP processes and data management practices
  • Utilize tools such as MySQL, Power BI, and data analytics to support strategic projects, including data warehousing
  • Ensure timely resolution of system issues while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Work onsite five days a week to provide hands-on leadership and support to the team
  • Maintain alignment with organizational objectives by managing resources and priorities effectively

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing ERP systems in a manufacturing or similar environment
  • Strong background in creating and interpreting Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
  • Demonstrated expertise in change management and driving organizational improvements
  • Proficiency in MySQL and data analytics tools such as Power BI
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a small to mid-sized team environment
  • Previous experience managing direct reports and fostering team growth
  • Ability to work onsite and thrive in a dynamic, hands-on setting
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results
