Job Description:

The ERP Functional Consultant at NTT DATA will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise applications. This position requires a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and moderate experience in enterprise applications like SAP or Oracle. Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for success in this role. The consultant will support functional testing, maintain documentation, and engage in process design workshops. This is a hybrid working position, offering a dynamic work environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supports specific areas of a project or managed service, such as functional testing, application configuration, data migration
  • Develops skills and knowledge as an Enterprise Applications Consultant
  • Engages in delivery projects, supporting the lifecycle of enterprise application projects
  • Assists with the execution of functional testing of less complex assigned applications
  • Participates in discussions around process design and configuration
  • Maintains documentation, support system testing and authorizations
  • Maintains reports on project status and delivers progress reports
  • Assists with technical preparation of business process workflows and procedures
  • Assists with the preparation of end-user documentation and user manuals
  • Participates in process design workshops and configuration discussions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field
  • Moderate level of demonstrated Enterprise Applications Consultant experience in one or more applications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Moderate level of demonstrated experience working across project lifecycles from scoping to post go-live
  • Moderate level of demonstrated experienced in providing technical guidance for the planning, design implementation of enterprise applications
  • Moderate level of demonstrated client engagement experience
  • Excellent understanding of business process coupled with strategic thinking ability
  • Excellent project and/or program management skills
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good creativity and the ability to work with abstract concepts
  • Extensive knowledge of systems, software and programing languages
  • Ability to focus on detail with an understanding of how it impacts the business strategically
  • Excellent client service orientation
  • Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business
  • Ability to manage urgent and complex tasks simultaneously
