We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Configuration SME to support and strengthen enterprise business systems in Hartford, Connecticut. This position blends hands-on configuration work with technical leadership, requiring someone who can translate business needs into scalable solutions while maintaining dependable production performance. The ideal candidate will partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to improve system quality, support releases, and uphold compliance expectations.
Job Responsibility:
Evaluate incoming project requests and production issues to determine effort, priority, and technical approach
Design solution outlines and detailed technical specifications that support reliable ERP and CRM configuration changes
Guide platform development activities by promoting sound architecture, consistent build practices, and quality-focused delivery standards
Coordinate with external technology providers and internal partners to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot integrated business applications
Perform and oversee unit and system validation to confirm solutions are ready for broader testing and production deployment
Support release activities, deployment planning, and operational readiness to ensure stable production outcomes
Create and maintain clear documentation for system configurations, incident resolution, and application updates
Work closely with architecture and security teams to align solutions with enterprise controls, audit expectations, and regulatory requirements
Provide subject matter expertise across finance, human resources, and shared business services platforms
Participate in on-call support and respond to urgent issues outside standard business hours when needed
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting ERP and CRM platforms within complex business environments
Strong knowledge of configuration management, business systems support, and enterprise application architecture
Ability to produce technical specifications and translate functional needs into practical system solutions
Experience working with third-party vendors and integrated technologies across multiple applications
Familiarity with audit controls, change governance, release management, and information systems compliance standards
Understanding of business processes related to finance, human resources, and operational services
Effective communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage work from analysis through resolution
