Job Description:

RE:LAB is a design and innovation company specialized in shaping the interaction between people and complex technologies. Since 2004, we have been working on products and systems used daily across the automotive, industrial, and consumer sectors. Our goal is to make advanced technology understandable, safe, and natural to use. We don't just design interfaces. We design experiences that bring together design, engineering, human factors, and artificial intelligence. Our multidisciplinary team tackles real-world challenges in highly complex contexts, where quality and reliability are essential. We partner with global companies when user experience is not a detail, but a critical factor for a product's success—when adoption, safety, and user trust truly make the difference. At RE:LAB, we believe technology should feel human. This belief guides the way we work, the design decisions we make, and the relationships we build every day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure compliance with ergonomics and HMI targets defined by internal guidelines and benchmarking
  • Provide technical inputs, constraints, and recommendations to Style and Product Development teams
  • Monitor and report project status, highlighting critical issues and proposed actions
  • Plan and support vehicle prototype testing for Design Validation
  • Define ergonomics requirements for vehicle components (visibility, reach, access, efforts, reflectivity, posture)
  • Evaluate design proposals (virtual and physical), identifying non-compliances and suggesting solutions
  • Support Virtual Design Validation (model setup, simulations, correlation with physical tests)
  • Support and contribute to Physical Validation activities, including result analysis and corrective actions
  • Perform benchmarking and competitor analysis
  • Contribute to ergonomics and HMI best practices
  • Support user testing activities (protocol definition, data collection, analysis, reporting)
  • Track validation issues to closure, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • Master's preferred in: Mechanical Engineering, Biomechanics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related fields
  • Knowledge of vehicle ergonomics principles (visibility, reach, access, efforts)
  • Experience with CAD software (preferably NX, Catia)
  • Familiarity with virtual analysis and simulation tools
  • Interest or exposure to Generative AI in product development
  • Fluent English (C1 level), written and spoken
