As an Employee Relations (ER) Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for ER guidance and support; helping leaders navigate people matters with confidence, consistency and fairness.
Job Responsibility:
Receiving calls via a line manager phone service and providing appropriate and accurate advice
Answering detailed questions about disciplinary, grievance, absence management, parental leave or any other ER related topic
Being able to navigate systems, provide accurate advice and document information simultaneously
Handling all matters confidentially
Being part of a small and cohesive team
Contributing to additional department tasks and responsibilities as and when required
Requirements:
Experience in handling a broad range of ER cases, ideally within a fast-paced environment
Confidence with coaching and influencing managers at all levels
To be able to communicate complex issues clearly and sensitively
Be highly organised and detail-focused
Knowledgeable about current UK employment law and ER best practice
Be a confident computer user with a solid knowledge of Microsoft applications
