Job Description

Figma is seeking a dedicated and experienced equity administration professional to join its growing Equity Operations team. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Equity Operations and will be an integral team member in scaling Figma's global equity incentive programs. This role will be focused on managing daily equity plan activity including option exercises and monthly RSU releases, employee equity experience, and data integrity in Shareworks. You will have the opportunity to scale existing processes through collaboration with Payroll, HRIS, People Ops and Legal teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and reconcile system integrations between Shareworks and Workday to ensure accurate equity, payroll, and demographic data
  • Direct and process equity transactions including stock option exercises and monthly RSU releases
  • Collaborate with Figma payroll and external consultants to ensure accurate and timely equity transaction reporting
  • Support and lead global expansion initiatives, M&A integration, and other transformation projects involving equity programs and tax enablement
  • Identify and implement process enhancements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all jurisdictions
  • Monitor changes to global tax and equity regulations, ensuring Figma’s practices, plan documents, and processes remain compliant
  • Develop strategic recommendations for global equity grants by aligning guidance from external legal and tax advisors with Figma’s operational capabilities and program objectives
  • Partner closely with Legal to support 10b5-1 plan administration, insider trading compliance, and required securities filings, including Form 4s, Form 144s, and annual proxy reporting

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in equity administration, ideally at both late-stage private and public companies
  • Advanced Excel, G-Suite, reconciliation, and analytical skills
  • Established knowledge of equity tax reporting, mobility, and withholding for a global workforce
  • Proven understanding of equity vehicles (RSUs, PSUs, stock options, ESPP) and their tax implications
  • Experience with Morgan Stanley at Work at Shareworks or similar equity platforms

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP Level 3)
  • CPA or equivalent tax background
