We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Equity Administrator to manage and administer our equity compensation programs. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate execution, compliance, and reporting of equity awards across the employee lifecycle, while partnering closely with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and HR. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of equity plans, cap table management, and regulatory compliance, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibility:
Administer equity compensation programs including stock options, RSUs, and other equity awards
Manage the full equity lifecycle: grants, vesting, exercises, cancellations, terminations, and settlements
Maintain accurate cap table records and equity systems (e.g., Carta, Shareworks, EquityEdge, or similar). Cyera works on Slice.
Maintain on an ongoing basis equity grants and exercises.
Support equity-related filings, audits, and disclosure
Assist with board and compensation committee approvals and documentation
Partner with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and HR on equity-related processes and employee events
Support M&A, financing, and IPO-readiness activities as they relate to equity
Coordinate with external vendors, auditors, and legal counsel as needed
Serve as a point of contact for employee equity questions
Prepare equity communications, educational materials, and FAQs
Support onboarding and offboarding equity processes
Prepare equity reports for internal stakeholders and leadership
Support equity expense reporting and reconciliations
Assist with equity data analysis and scenario modeling as needed
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in equity administration, stock plan administration, or a related role
Experience in a high-growth startup or public company environment
Working knowledge of equity compensation vehicles (options, RSUs, ESPPs, etc.)
Experience with equity administration platforms (e.g., Slice, Carta, Shareworks, Fidelity, or similar)- big advantage!
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Nice to have:
Familiarity with global equity programs and international compliance
Understanding of ASC 718 / equity accounting basics
CEP (Certified Equity Professional) certification or progress toward certification
