Job Description

As an Equipment Technician, you will participate in a multi-faceted position, installing and maintaining all lubricant and automotive service chemical delivery equipment. This will include managing and participating in equipment installations for new customers and servicing repairing equipment for existing customers. This position is an opportunity for a self-starter who can show responsibility in various administrative functions through customer satisfaction gained by an excellent record of equipment and customer service.

Job Responsibility

  • Installation/delivery of chemical and/or lubrication equipment at varying locations
  • Perform preventive maintenance of chemical and lubrication equipment
  • Loading and unloading of warehouse deliveries, which may include the use of a forklift
  • Maintain an organized inventory of parts and equipment, responsible for controlling local costs
  • Maintain a clean work area and jobsite as directed
  • Ability to represent Valvoline Global in a professional capacity

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years technical or maintenance experience
  • Experience with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and systems maintenance required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Teams and outlook (or equivalent) required
  • Working knowledge of Workorder and Parts systems experience required
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Skilled understanding of wiring diagrams and flow charts
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex mechanical issues
  • Ability to lift equipment and/or machinery up to 50 lbs
  • Overnight travel requirements up to 30%
