The Equipment Specialist function plays a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance and reliability of the equipment used in ResMed Manufacturing. This position support daily operations by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, assist in equipment upgrade and compliance with safety and regulatory safety.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance activities.
Coordinate and perform breakdown maintenance activities.
Perform equipment/tools/fixtures set up and configuration.
Perform fault finding analysis on equipment.
Identify, report, and coordinate repair for equipment problems.
Maintain a work environment that complies with OH&S, 5S and GMP requirements.
Work with related departments to track equipment or tooling faults/performance and implement preventative maintenance or repairs schedules.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Document and record maintenance activities as require for equipment.
Perform other tasks as requested to assist the business reach and maintain its goal.
Requirements:
At least a diploma or a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in mechanical / electrical / mechatronics / toolmaking
With minimum 2year experience in Automatically machine and must be able to perform trouble-shoot on equipment
Excellent mechanical skills.
Good machine electrical knowledge.
Ability to Read, Interpret and Understand Engineering Drawings and Schematics.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good computer skills.
Working in a team environment.
Coordinate work efficiently.
Communicate clearly at all levels.
Recognize and develop maintenance systems.
Nice to have:
Experience in a medical manufacturing industry.
Experience in a high volume, automated manufacturing environment.
