Job Description:

The Production & Assembly function is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and packaging products. As an Equipment Specialist Molding, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of production equipment. This includes programming, setup, and monitoring of equipment processes, while ensuring compliance with ResMed’s quality, OH&S, GMP policies, and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning, scheduling and coordinating of maintenance and calibration activities
  • Performing breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and calibration activities for production equipment
  • Conduct the necessary equipment and tool setup in molding machines to meet production requirements
  • Perform process or equipment troubleshooting
  • Assist the engineering team with validation activities
  • Accurately document and record all maintenance and calibration activities
  • Adhere to standard maintenance and operating procedures, GMP, 5S practices, and Health and Safety policies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adapting existing maintenance methods and schedules
  • Support other departments in ensuring that new projects and equipment are delivered, installed, and maintained on time and to the highest standard
  • Perform any other tasks or duties as required to support the team and operations

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and devices
  • Ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings
  • Proven experience in performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Solid understanding of computer systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, both as part of a team and independently
  • Proactive self-management with a commitment to completing work to the highest standards, on time and within budget
  • Flexibility to work within a varied schedule, depending on production needs
