Hardware Quality Assurance Specialist – Elevate Excellence in Flight Training Tech! Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for overall Manufacturing Quality Assurance Systems (Incoming Quality, Process Quality, Final Inspection, complete life cycle of manufacturing including product & process validations)
  • Perform the complete cycle of the auditing process – plan an audit, conduct an audit, report/communicate findings, and issue corrective actions when necessary
  • Ensure product conformity to drawing requirements based on a quality plan – develop inspection and test standards, establish control points, oversee the inspection process, address non-conformities through resolution plans
  • Lead MRB meetings and provide recommendation
  • Manufacturing Quality Audit systems
  • Validation & Verification of Processes / Process Qualification techniques
  • Deployment of factory metrics for continuous improvements
  • Identify opportunities for improvement – analyze data for recurring issues and identify top offenders using quality tools (fishbone/pareto/control charts)
  • facilitate quality improvement sessions

Requirements:

  • DEC. in mechanics or electrical (or technical training with equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in internal and external (supplier) audit required
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and its quality management principles
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to mechanical or electrical products (welding, plating, painting, machining, sheet metal work, mechanical/electrical assembly, PCB assembly, cable assembly)
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
