Job Description:

Safely and efficiently operate log yard equipment to load/unload log trucks and maintain production speed. Assist in sorting logs by species and feed logs to the sawmill. Climb ladders on heavy equipment and operate machinery. Perform routine maintenance on machinery. Maintain a clean and orderly log yard, keeping log yard and mill decks clean and clear of debris. The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding. Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments. Work may consist of various shifts with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times.
