Equipment Operator

The town of Danvers welcomes applicants for two full-time positions as Equipment Operators for the DPW Streets Division. This position is responsible for highly skilled work in the operation of automotive and/or complex highway construction maintenance equipment requiring a hydraulics license. This position is also responsible for operating specialized equipment where primary responsibility is for operating equipment in performing construction and maintenance tasks throughout highways, water and sewer systems, buildings, grounds, and other town properties. This is a benefitted, full-time position that works 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.). This position earns $24.86/hourly with the ability to move through the pay scale via step system to a maximum of $28.36/hourly.
