Job Description

The town of Littleton is seeking qualified applicants for a full time 40 hour/week, benefit eligible Equipment Operator position in the Department of Public Works, Highway Division. As of July 1, 2024 the schedule is four 10-hour days a week (Monday through Thursday). This position performs routine work assisting in all Public Works construction, maintenance and repair projects.

  • Valid driver’s license or CDL class B
  • Hoisting license 2B/1C minimum (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, riding mowers, snow and ice equipment, power and hand tools

Nice to have

  • Snow and ice operations experience
  • Drainage system experience
  • Roadway construction knowledge
