Job Description:

Ready to join a leading national transportation company where you can make a real impact? We're seeking a dynamic and organized Bilingual Equipment Coordinator for our Lachine terminal. In this role, you'll be the linchpin of our operation, ensuring the smooth flow of trailers and playing a key role in maintaining our high standards of efficiency and safety.

Job Responsibility:

Be the 'command center' for trailer tracking, meticulously monitoring arrivals, departures, and on-site movements
Become an expert in our systems, updating trailer status, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring accurate records
Collaborate with logistics, maintenance, and loading teams to optimize trailer utilization and meet our customers' needs
Contribute directly to the success of a major player in the Canadian transportation industry

Requirements:

Bilingualism (French & English) - excellent communication skills are a must!
1-2 years of experience in customer service or administration
Tech-savviness - proficiency with MS Office and web-based programs
eagerness to learn new systems (experience with Truck Mate is a plus)
Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
A proactive and solutions-oriented approach
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Previous experience in transportation or operations is an asset
