We are seeking a dedicated Equipment Coordinator to manage and maintain critical safety equipment at our Lytton-based shutdown. The Role Your primary mission is to ensure all safety equipment is meticulously maintained, tracked, and ready for action. You will be the go-to person for equipment reliability and site compliance. Key Responsibilities Technical Maintenance: Clean, service, and repair safety equipment to manufacturer specifications. Calibration & Bumping: Ensuring all personal and area gas monitors are calibrated and 'bump tested' before issuance. Equipment Issuance & Tracking: Managing the checkout/check-in of devices to workers. Technical Support: Troubleshooting faulty detectors and maintaining the 'gas shed' inventory. Data Management: Downloading and reviewing log data from detectors to ensure compliance Inventory & Tracking: Manage the issuing and returning of equipment while providing detailed 'track and trace' reporting for all users. Compliance & Testing: Assemble and perform function tests to guarantee optimal performance. Site Liaison: Work closely with safety management teams to identify equipment needs and special requests. Training: Provide equipment familiarisation training to onsite personnel.

Requirements:
Trades Certificate or equivalent experience in a similar technical environment
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer operations
Must hold a current, valid driving licence
Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to organise priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
