The Equipment and Material Controls Analyst is part of the internal DEC equipment and material demand planning team, which is essential for mapping Required on Job (ROJ) requirements across all Bills of Materials (BOMs) on active sites to develop an unconstrained DEC plan that aligns with market supply chain capacity. This role involves coordinating equipment prioritization, refining BOMs in collaboration with DEC Engineering and ISCE, issuing a monthly DEC equipment Plan of Record (POR), reporting on Supply and Demand gaps, communicating changes to DEC-wide stakeholders, and contributing to setting the strategy of long-term agreements with suppliers to debottleneck the supply chain.
Job Responsibility:
Lead equipment and material demand planning for all active, planned, optionality, and enablement BOM projects within the Equipment/Material Controls team
Facilitate prioritization review meetings to address supply-demand gaps
Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the team
Coordinate matrixed communication channels to ensure stakeholder engagement
Record and assess accepted delays, including their impact on PR dates and key milestones
Contribute to the BOM design change process for Site Specific Design deliverables, ensuring non-negotiable requests are reviewed and approved or rejected by DC Product Engineers and Building Block Champions
Analyze and report on root causes of BOM changes, collaborating cross-functionally to address underlying drivers
Communicate BOM changes resulting from EOR performance during EOR Performance Reviews and Allocation Strategy sessions, with a focus on Prime-related changes
Prepare executive-level reports on supply-demand pegging and influence Long Term Agreement (LTA) limits to enhance future optionality
Lead the development of the Program Wiki page and document process SOPs in the Knowledge Base
Integrate findings from Equipment/Material Controls into Project Specific Risk registers
Track and report lessons learned related to the Equipment/Material Controls process
Requirements:
8+ years experience in construction or project management or supply chain
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, or any related field
Experience developing and driving actions or operational adjustments based on controls performance metrics
Experience as an individual contributor in supply chain administration, demand planning, and risk management
Experience with contract terms, scheduling, and integration of project libraries
Experience analyzing and synthesizing large datasets and drive critical decision support
Experience in cross-functional leadership communication and collaboration. Bridging technical and financial stakeholders
