We are opening position for a consulting manager with experience in implementing Business Intelligence and/or Corporate Performance Management solutions. Positions is based in New York area. Our innovative and growing company is looking to fill the role of consulting manager.
Job Responsibility:
Candidate should have years of experience in EPM / CPM fields and have the ability to understand business processes as well as technology related challenges
Being able to conduct end to end EPM/CPM projects a lead a team throughout full life cycle implementations including planning, design, & build phases
Ensure the quality of deliverables along the project phases (Project plan, Business Requirements, Training guide, …)
Manage resources and budget on client projects
Anticipate and resolve conflict between the different project stakeholders: client, partner, team member or other organizations in a satisfactory manner
Identify business opportunities to increase profitability
Build and maintain relationships with clients that characterize partnership, cooperation and trust
Providing leadership and coaching to the team and the individual consultant
Motivating and energizing the team
Mentor staff in methodologies and best practices in project management to enhance project delivery
Provide staff with clear understanding of responsibilities, accountabilities and growth plan by communicating and managing work assignments, training, and performance appraisals
Monitor the alignment of project/program scope with strategic business objective
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS or related field required
Experience with design and deployment of one or more Business Intelligence/EPM software platforms/applications (e.g. Anaplan, CCH Tagetik, Board, OneStream, SAP BPC, SAP BW, HFM, Hyperion Planning, Cognos Planning etc.)
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Experience with full life cycle implementations and demonstrated abilities to work independently, meet deadlines and budgets
Proven success managing people and projects
Strong leadership skills: able to conduct meetings and write technically oriented documents
Able to work with clients to understand current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives
Highly self-motivated with professional attitude
Nice to have:
A Master’s degree is a plus
