Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Epicor Kinetic Consultant to support manufacturing scheduling and operational reporting initiatives. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone with hands-on expertise in Epicor Kinetic within a job shop environment and a strong understanding of how scheduling data drives production performance. The role will focus on improving scheduling structure, building meaningful dashboards, and delivering insights that help teams manage capacity, materials, and priorities effectively.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the setup and optimization of Epicor Kinetic scheduling practices for a manufacturing job shop environment
  • Evaluate how jobs are structured to improve scheduling accuracy, production flow, and operational efficiency
  • Configure and assess key scheduling inputs such as resources, material availability, subcontract timing, staffing levels, and working calendars
  • Analyze critical path, margin impact, and supply-versus-demand factors to help establish practical production priorities
  • Partner with stakeholders on-site over an extended period to support scheduling adoption, process alignment, and ongoing performance improvements
  • Design custom dashboards and reporting tools in Kinetic to provide clear visibility into production status, constraints, and business metrics
  • Perform data analysis to identify scheduling bottlenecks, inventory impacts, and lead-time risks across manufacturing operations
  • Support database update activities and data migration tasks using designated tools when required

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience implementing or onboarding Epicor Kinetic scheduling in a manufacturing job shop setting
  • Strong understanding of job structure design, including resource configuration, material lead times, inventory considerations, and subcontract dependencies
  • Working knowledge of scheduling concepts such as staffing models, labor hours, critical path analysis, margin considerations, and demand prioritization
  • Ability to create tailored dashboards and operational reports within Epicor Kinetic or similar business intelligence environments
  • Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools, with the ability to translate operational data into actionable insights
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, lean principles, automated inventory considerations, and production scheduling best practices
