Job Description:

Acts as the primary support contact for their Epic application in the Inpatient team. Designs, builds, and tests the system to achieve workflow requirements to meet end user needs. Provides computer technical expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of the computer system. Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides computer technical expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of the computer system
  • Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner
  • Maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other UH staff and perform other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation and in the UH policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, or Doctor of Pharmacy preferred
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Pharmacy Informatics preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience as an Epic Willow Inpatient analyst preferred but not required
  • Epic experience in an inpatient healthcare setting is preferred but not required
  • Work experience may be substituted for formal education requirement
  • Strong analytical, technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment test

Nice to have:

  • Experience as an Epic Willow Inpatient analyst
  • Epic experience in an inpatient healthcare setting
