The H&D/Presentation Engineer is responsible for the deployment, performance, and support of the Epic client-side experience. This role involves managing Epic Hyperspace, optimizing application delivery, troubleshooting performance issues, and collaborating on upgrades and go-lives. Candidates should have experience with tools like SCCM and Citrix, and a strong understanding of client-side technologies.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the deployment, performance, and support of the Epic client-side experience
Manage Epic Hyperspace
Optimize application delivery
Troubleshoot performance issues
Collaborate on upgrades and go-lives
Package, deploy, and maintain Epic Hyperspace
Manage ActiveX controls, client prerequisites, ODBC drivers, and user profile settings
Engineer solutions to optimize how Hyperspace and other Epic apps are delivered
Configure seamless access across a range of endpoints
Identify and resolve client-side performance issues
Work closely with application teams, desktop support, and networking to diagnose and fix environment-specific issues
Create and maintain standardized desktop or VDI images optimized for Epic
Ensure all devices used to access Epic meet performance benchmarks and compliance requirements
Participate in Epic version upgrades, client refresh cycles, and go-live events
Coordinate with Epic TS/CSC and internal teams for Hyperspace version management, deployment scripts, and environment testing
Requirements:
Experience with tools like SCCM, Ivanti, or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
Experience with Citrix, VMware Horizon, or Microsoft RDS
Strong understanding of client-side technologies
Ability to package, deploy, and maintain Epic Hyperspace
Ability to manage ActiveX controls, client prerequisites, ODBC drivers, and user profile settings
Ability to engineer solutions to optimize application delivery
Ability to identify and resolve client-side performance issues
Ability to work closely with application teams, desktop support, and networking
