We are looking for an experienced Epic EMR Trainer to join our team in Shrewsbury Massachusetts. In this role, you will lead the delivery of comprehensive training programs designed to enhance clinical workflows and operational efficiency. This position is ideal for someone with a strong passion for healthcare technology and process improvement, dedicated to empowering staff and improving patient care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct interactive and engaging Epic EMR training sessions for healthcare providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams
  • Evaluate current clinical workflows to identify areas for optimization using Epic system capabilities
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership to customize training materials that address unique operational challenges
  • Develop and maintain user-friendly training resources such as guides, manuals, and quick reference tools
  • Provide onsite and virtual support during system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Monitor staff proficiency with Epic systems, delivering follow-up coaching and troubleshooting when necessary
  • Act as a bridge between clinical teams and IT departments to address workflow concerns and system updates
  • Stay informed about Epic system updates and industry trends to ensure training remains relevant and effective
  • Gather and analyze data on training outcomes to assess effectiveness and drive improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, information technology, or a related field
  • Epic certification or 3-5 years of experience training on Epic modules within ambulatory or primary care settings
  • Proven experience in Health Centers (FQHCs) or community health centers is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Epic applications, modules, and healthcare workflows
  • Excellent ability to design and deliver instructor-led training sessions
  • Proficiency in creating clear and concise training materials tailored for diverse audiences
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with both clinical and IT teams
  • Commitment to staying updated on regulatory requirements and healthcare technology advancements
