The Epic ASAP Analyst specializes in the configuration, optimization, and support of the Epic ASAP module for emergency department workflows. This role involves collaborating with clinical and IT teams to enhance system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with other Epic applications. Responsibilities include analyzing user needs, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and patient care, and providing advanced-level support. Epic certification in ASAP and strong analytical skills are essential for success.
Job Responsibility:
Specializes in the configuration, optimization, and support of the Epic ASAP module for emergency department workflows
Collaborating with clinical and IT teams to enhance system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with other Epic applications
Analyzing user needs, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and patient care, and providing advanced-level support
Ensures the operational effectiveness of enterprise applications, addressing user needs while assisting with incidents, updates, and upgrades to maintain system health
Provide ongoing analysis and trouble-shooting support of application system components to meet needs and clinical/business requirements
Perform applications testing and participates in integrated testing of current and newly released vendor functionality to ensure system reliability
Contribute to updates, upgrades, and projects within and across applications and develops application specific solutions
Provide 24/7 customer support for applications within accountability
Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, tests and maintains Clinical/EHR software applications
Interfaces with user departments to anticipate and resolve problems, develops and modifies procedures to solve data processing problems and prepares detailed specifications from which programs are written
Coordinates implementation, analysis and testing, maintenance and upgrades, application design, and debugging of complex workflows with multiple modules
Utilize deep understanding of the technical components of all modules to maintain system integrity
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
2 years Clinical Applications and Systems - design, build, integration, activation
Minimum 2 years of related experience
Certified - EPIC Preferred
Epic certification in ASAP required within 6 months
