Job Description

Epic Application System Analyst checks in on the pulse of our systems overnight, alerts, performance dashboards, and monitoring reports get an early review to ensure that every application supporting Baptist Health's care continuum is operating at peak performance. From there, the Systems Analysts review the team's chat to align on daily priorities, triage support tickets, and prepare for upcoming deployments or patches. Whether it's optimizing a third-party application, turning performance, or coordinating a seamless system upgrade, every task shares a common goal: keep technology reliable so caregivers can stay focused on patients. The Systems Analyst captures key insights from the day: documenting solutions, closing tickets, and preparing recommendations for future improvements. The close of the day is about readiness - ensuring that tomorrow's operations run even smoother than today's. The day brings cross-functional collaboration with IT, Operations, and Clinical Informatics partners. The conversation might center on expanding system capacity, streamlining user workflows, or integrating new solutions into the enterprise ecosystem. As a trusted advisor, the Systems Analyst also partners with vendors and specialists to explore innovations that can enhance care delivery and strengthen Baptist's digital foundation.
