The Epic Ambulatory Application Analyst will provide comprehensive support for Epic Ambulatory applications across all outpatient specialties, acting as a critical link between clinical operations and IT. This role focuses on ensuring system functionality, optimizing workflows, and maintaining system integrity, while delivering a seamless user experience for clinic teams. The analyst will troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, support Epic updates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational improvements. This position emphasizes hands-on application support, workflow optimization, and interface troubleshooting, with a strong focus on maintaining operational effectiveness and improving clinical efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Provide end-to-end support for Epic Ambulatory applications, with a focus on primary care and specialty outpatient teams
Manage and resolve incident tickets and service requests through ServiceNow, ensuring smooth daily operations
Monitor and troubleshoot interface errors, maintaining data integrity across systems
Support Epic quarterly updates, implementing required system enhancements and adjustments
Collaborate with clinical informatics, operational leaders, project managers, and Epic technical teams to clarify requirements and implement optimizations
Participate in application testing and integrated testing for system updates, new functionality, and workflow changes
Contribute to system upgrades, updates, and cross-application projects
Provide 24/7 support for applications within accountability, ensuring operational continuity
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
2 years Clinical Applications and Systems - design, build, integration, activation (Required)
Minimum 2 years of related experience (Required)
Strong understanding of Ambulatory workflows within the Epic environment (Highly Preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with high comfort using Outlook, Teams, and Excel (Preferred)
Experience using Microsoft Visio for workflow mapping and process documentation (Preferred)
Strong understanding of Epic workflows and basic Epic build concepts (Preferred)
Possession of (or working toward) an industry-recognized certification (Preferred)
Certified - EPIC Preferred
Epic Ambulatory highly preferred
MyEpic MyChart preferred
