Job Description

Responsible for the preparation and execution of large-scale Solar Power plant from Ready-to-Build (RTB) to Provisional Acceptance (PAC), as part of the company Project Management Office (PMO).

Job Responsibility

  • Management of EPC project program, multi-expertise project team and project contracts in Philippines
  • Responsible for project preparation and execution, cross-functional coordination including contract management and fulfillment of additional project requirements (e.g. lease, insurances, H&S, licenses, local entity set-up, taxes & duties, logistics)
  • Support the Business Development team in assessing project feasibility for EPC-related aspects (coordinate technical studies, surveys, or design optimization
  • identify project risks
  • define design concept and EPC setup)
  • Prepare, execute, and evaluate turnkey EPC and O&M tenders and prepare decision-basis (EPCM projects)
  • In selected markets: identify partners and prepare setup to act as EPC and O&M contractor (EPC projects)
  • Lead communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Risk management, troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Accountable for cost, timeline, and quality of the EPC project, that need to be constantly updated
  • Coordination of acceptance procedures, handover to the Asset Management, O&M and Post Construction team
  • Reporting to project director and senior management
  • Company representative under the EPC Contract

Requirements

  • Academic degree in engineering, preferable in Electrical or Civil
  • At least five years of relevant work experience
  • Well-developed intercultural skills
  • Strong communication skills - systematic organizational approach
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders to international standards
  • Technical understanding of renewable energy (preferably: solar)
  • Contract management experience
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent networking, leadership, negotiation, and time management skills
  • Work rights in Malaysia is mandatory
