Job Description:

As a Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab Nurse, also sometimes called an EP Lab RN, you'll treat patients by assisting with arrhythmia ablations, medications, and implantable devices such as pacemakers and cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs). Though you'll use similar skills as you would in the traditional cardiac cath lab, as an EP Lab nurse you must have advanced knowledge of sedation and cardiac care. Travel nurses work for a limited amount of time at a particular location, providing patient care and support before moving on to their next exciting adventure.
