Job Responsibility

As our Environmental Services Technician, you'll keep our patient rooms and all areas of the hospital clean and sanitized
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or dusting
Use specialized equipment and techniques to further sanitize our facility
Learn and adhere to proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials, including bodily fluids or sharp objects
Refill soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and other supplies, as well as deliver clean linens
Complete daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and other common areas
Perform duties while demonstrating knowledge of health care cleaning and disinfecting principles
Display safe chemical use and equipment handling
Adhere to organization safety, risk management and infection control guidelines
Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives
