Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Environment and Sustainability Advisor to join the Perth Team! In this role, you will provide advice and support to the construction management teams to ensure compliance with statutory, WA Life and Client environmental and sustainability obligations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Creation and implementation of environmental and sustainability plans, and subsidiary systems documentation
  • Support the Environmental Manager in day-to-day environmental and sustainability tasks
  • Assist in management of environmental monitoring (dust, noise, vibration, water, etc.) and associated reporting
  • Prepare and contribute to environmental and sustainability compliance reporting, including internal reporting, corporate reporting and client-facing reports
  • Undertake regular site inspections, monitoring and audits to verify compliance with Project environmental and sustainability requirements
  • Maintain clear, auditable records to support regulatory, client and internal assurance requirements
  • Work closely with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and consultants to identify, implement and maintain environmental controls and mitigation measures on site
  • Promoting a positive environmental and sustainability focused culture

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Environmental Management or Environmental Science qualifications or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the construction industry in a similar role
  • Experience in the development and implementation of environmental and sustainability management systems and plans
  • Interpretation and implementation of environmental and sustainability programs
  • Experience in reporting of environmental, sustainability and/or ESG data
