Job Description:

The Environmental Specialist (Secondment) will support the Environment Manager/ QSE team in delivering Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottler Company’s environmental commitments, focusing on water stewardship, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role offers hands-on experience in environmental management within a global beverage manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support implementation of environmental management systems (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001 standards
  • Assist in monitoring water usage, wastewater discharge, and energy consumption across plant operations
  • Conduct environmental data collection, analysis, and reporting (monthly and quarterly KPIs)
  • Participate in sustainability projects such as water replenishment, recycling initiatives, and carbon reduction programs
  • Assist with environmental audits, inspections, and compliance documentation
  • Support waste reduction and circular economy initiatives, including packaging sustainability projects
  • Contribute to environmental awareness campaigns and employee engagement activities
  • Liaise with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve environmental performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Sustainability, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • 0–2 years’ experience (including internships or graduate programs)
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation and ISO 14001 is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
